It was in one of those theaters that vibrates your seats. It was a great time. That was the fourth time we'd seen it in theater together. 3 times in 1997 and today.

Buzzed my hair, took shower, shaved neck, had scrambled eggs and toast. Did some laundry and then did 60% of my Christmas shopping and all of my grocery shopping. Meal prep right now.

February or March we think. San Diego gave her a job offer but St Louis is also flying her out and now some hospital in Little Rock is wanting to do the same. So we are waiting to see who makes the best offer and thinking about where we want to live for the next decade or so.

One of the many things I picked up after a lifetime of living with two women was that hair prep takes time and rushing your hair prep will fuck up your day.

I worked and then when I was walking home from my car I stepped in a frozen puddle that swallowed my shoe and I had to continue shoeless with one foot through snow and ice

I recovered my shoe but it will take ages to dry

When my foot is a little more thawed I've got dishes to do, delicious food to eat, and some other stuff to get done

Yes my usual parking spot in front of the house was taken, other close places have to be kept free for road cleanup. had to park in a different area a ways up the street. I lost my shoe in the first 10 steps with my arms full of gear

That looks good but then I remembered you don't eat animal products so it's probably something nasty where the thing that looks like meat is.

It's nothing too weird and definitely not nasty. It's young jackfruit that was given a dry rub, cooked, sauced, simmered, and shredded. It's actually tastier than pulled pork imo and I loved to make barbecue a lot before. Many of my omni friends like doing jackfruit BBQ.

I had a bunch of extras so I shared with my housemates and they want me to get them jackfruit when I visit the city. They eat meat every day.

Only thing I'd do different is make seitan and mix some shredded seitan in, give it more protein and chew. Flavor wise this recipe was spot on to a pulled BBQ meat sandwich and without any random gobs of fat so yay
