don't they pay you like $5 or something hilariously low for wasting like 5+ days that can't be made up for in some jobs

idk how much they pay you. i get paid my regular wage through my work for as long as i am away on jury duty.

I was on a jury and we took away some lady's license for driving drunk.
The judge came in after and said he was proud we did. I guess she refused the breathalyzer and has been in trouble for this stuff in the past, but something about the 5th amendment makes it so none of that was entered as evidence.

I don't know man, but they were like she was driving drunk and she can't do that, then she was like I was driving a little drunk yeah.
It didn't feel very much like it was a tough case from my perspective.
