Just found out Dhurke is dead

This is fucking stupid so far, hope they answer all my questions like

Why are they trying to prosecute a dead man
Why is Amara doing all of this
Why did they kill Inga
Did Ga'ran know Amara did this shit? If so why did she want Rayfa to do the seance at first?

wtf is going on in this case. They're gonna have to pull off some shit to make any of this sensical.

How did Maya channel Dhurke's spirit if her hands were tied? She said she needed her hands

I've played all of them. They at least have internal logic...

This one might have it too but so far I'm not seeing it

Just discovered that Amara was covering for Ga'ran

Apollo looks like an idiot, he keeps switching his accusations

Amara just got shot

I'm guessing Ga'ran tried to kill Amara in the fire but since she escaped he blamed it on Dhurke and then Amara believed Dhurke betrayed him, so Ga'ran was manipulating her this whole time

I can't believe this case is still ongoing I thought I was at the end jfc

My only problem with the last case is the shitload of flashbacks. It was so painful.

I mean I cant say much else without spoiling the rest for you but I loved the case. I guess I can answer the first question.

Why prosecute a dead man? I can think of a couple reasons.

1. Hes the leader of the revolution. By finding him guilty of murder, thatd squash out the revolution quick. Sounds like a good deal for the Queen, no?

2. Youre in the Kingdom of Khurain. A country that heavily believes in spirit channeling and the dead and whatnot. Clearly death holds a different meaning to them that Japan/California does.

True.

I'm cross examining Nahyuta... how much of this case is left? Is it under an hour? Should I finish it off before I sleep or pick it up again another time

Also I don't understand why Ga'ran needs justification to off Inga if he was planning a coup. Why murder him like that? Just so she could pin it on Dhurke?

She did it because she was trying to fool the Seyance.

Why do you need to fool the seyance? Why do you even need to kill the guy? He's planning a coup... you have the justification you need to arrest and/or execute him. Plus she's the law.

Nice send off for Apollo I suppose

Can't help but feel he never got the arc he should have, since they got cold feet with making him the protagonist after the 4th game... but at least this was his game in spirit (pun intended)

She thought Inga had the Founder's Orb. Phoenix was supposed to have been delivering it to him, but that plan failed. If Inga had actually gotten it, he could have used it to prove Ga'ran's rule was not legitimate. She didn't know at the time that he never got the orb which is why she murdered him in secret.

Nope lmao.

Also I think the separation between Apollo and the Wright Anything Agency is because they are intending to make their own Apollo spinoff like they did with Edgeworth.

These games are extremely slow to come out, though.

I mean that's just my hunch. Nothing official has been announced regarding the future of the series.

Athena I think will stick with Wright for the time being. She's too rookie to go off on her own right now.

Honestly, this part really was fucking stupid. She could've just sent one of her lackeys to kill him instead of doing it herself. I mean, she literally got one of them to attempt to murder Amara, one of the most respected individuals in the country right there in full view of everyone, she could've easily gotten one of them to off a suspect of a planned coup.

One of the most subtle thing about that case that made it so freaking great though was that

Inga did it all for Rayfa. He was fully aware of her origins but treasured her all the same. His plan was to get her on the throne and eliminate anybody who might get in the way of that, including Dhurke. You could say that's his main reason for flatout shooting Dhurke without being actively provoked. The evidence was in his secret vault, where aside from a crucial evidence of his intent, he also kept a letter from a young Rayfa telling him how much she loves her father

But they actually only imply it. In fact, the entire case paints Inga to be a coldhearted murderer without reason
