I have a screen atm, it's my main screen, my old screen broke like 8 months ago. This one is a 24 inch 16:10 aspect ratio Asus screen that's nice. But I want a new main screen to use with a new GPU (Prob GTX 1080Ti).

I dunno if I wanna go 4k cuz it's expensive, I have my TV screen for that. But I wanna go with higher resolution than 1920x1200 I have now. I see plenty of alright priced 2560x1440 ones.

But any tips of any sizes are welcome. What brand etc.

I'm just upgrading things on my PC, no need to do everything from start since I have great parts. I just need to upgrade my GPU, CPU, memory and mobo are still working great

Newegg doesn't list 1080p monitors under its 2k filter so you're wrong

Apparently those are good with Nvidia cards with G-sync and stuff

Newegg has a relatively loose definition of 2K, it seems. When I think 2K, I think more of this:

Yes, 1920x1080 isn't quite 2K, but it is close. 4K TVs aren't really quite true 4K either, though.

Edit: Looks like companies did start using 2K for QHD monitors. Seems dumb to me since 2K was something else and 2560 is closer to 2.5K, but ok. It is what it is.

Ok I ordered a Acer Predator XB271HU, 27 inch , 2560x1440, 144Hz, (with 165Hz OC cabapilty), has G-Sync and stuff, which will work great with my new GPU which I'm ordering.
