d1 was great but also one of those games where imo it's not 100% fun unless you're going through it with friends

It is a really boring gameplay formula, yeah.

Mostly I hate the art style/setting (which is in turn extremely generic).

I don't get why it locks the cutscenes to 30fps, also makes them look shit too (not the CGI ones), and yeah the art is crap as well.

personally i love destiny 2. it's a pseudo-MMO with great shooting mechanics and decent pvp.

i love loot games and MMORPGs but dont have the time to get back into something like WoW again. Destiny 2 scratches that itch, where I can play for 30 minutes, do some events or a strike or pvp or something, get some loot that makes my dude look cool, and turn off the game and go about my life.

i like that destiny 2 is casual, so there's no complicated systems to learn and nothing to really invest in. just playing what feels like Halo with loot when I have some downtime.
