It's like that youtube automatic copyright tag loophole jim sterling found. If your video got flagged, you can flag it with other dispute from other company, and the 2 would just cancel each other out.

Now you do it with demons by selling your soul to other, when u die, both demons came and like
"This shit here is mine ass!"

Then the other "no he is like mine you butt!"

Then they 2 fight and kill each other andc your soul is free whike in life you are granted 2 wishes

Yea. Very old spoilers: Constantine gets out of trouble by making a deal with 3 very important demons in a row for his soul, and when they come to collect they realize it would cause a full-scale war in hell if they tried as they fought over ownership, which would cause heaven to come down and wipe them all out, so they have NO CHOICE but to keep him alive. It's how his lung cancer gets healed, too, because he was already on his deathbed, something they changed for the movie

Also would depend upon the mythos. DnD for example, there's a hierarchy of demons and they give no shits about warring with each other. Devils are more likely to do the deal, but actually have a hierarchy that Asmodeus enforces heavily.
