If you were genuinely attracted to the girl and wanted a relationship, you're not going to be happy just being friends and getting to witness her being with other guys. If that thought bothers you, just cut it off.

Depends. Some people are mature enough to realize you don't always get what you want and just want to salvage still having that person in their life. The older I get the harder it is to find people I want to be around

It never helped for me. I was always open with how I felt. Still got the chicks I settled for and never expressed much love for >_>

I understand that 100%. And like I said sometimes having a friend is nice..but really other times it can be too much. For example it was this girl I was IN LOVE with. She only saw me as friend , and even after she got married she would come to me with her issues and crap. So I just stop answering her phone calls. I mean I don't have time for that. Sorry if he is mean to you, you picked him.

It's crazy because it's like, if you wanted to be in a relationship with her then logically you'd want to be her friend, but if you're just gonna give up once she makes it clear that she's not romantically interested, then it shows you probably were more in lust than love.

Being 27, I really dont care much to a point. If I am attracted and they like someone else, tell me upfront. Dont make plans with me, Dont ask me what Im doing such and such dates cause thats none of your business unless you make it clear that you want it to be.
