If something is really limited like 100 or less produced you can pretty much guarantee it will be highly sought after But the ones that really have their value skyrocket are ones that Funko produces a somewhat limited amount of because they dont know how well it will sell, and then demand increases for it later on. For example the first run of Game of Thrones pops go for a ton because they were released when the show was fairly new and hadnt become such a pop culture megahit yet. However, most things which come out at a Hot Topic have a large enough run that they'll likely never be rare. If you're just thinking about stuff that might rise in price, you'd probably want to go for variants which aren't likely to have that many produced (con exclusives and website exclusives). Order online, unless its one of the super exclusive ones most go online for different retailers.
