Not ALL of the side stuff mind you, just all the collecting.

I still intend to do all the stuff that focuses on flashbacks, but I haven't touched the game in nearly a year and I'd like to actually finish it now.

I mean, it can be speedrun. But you are missing out by not exploring. He'll, it took me 2 months to finish the game cause I just kept roaming around.

I have Witcher 2/3 and AC: Origins as some of the many games on my backlog.

Open-world games are getting a little suffocating tbh

If you just go for the main dungeons and then sprint to the final boss you can get through it pretty quickly. Revali's Gale alone will let you skip basically the entire last area. You'll just want to avoid most combat and make sure you hit up a weapons cache prior to the last leg so you've got enough good weapons to actually finish the boss.
