I only got it 2 months ago, but it seems extremely hard. Harder than New Super Mario Bros U, and at least as hard as Sunshine. I've heard some people say it's actually kinda easy. You know, I've gotten maybe 340 Power Moons, which is less than half the unique ones, and I've been going kinda slowly for a while now. How do people find them? Why do people complain about the blue coin challenge, but not getting all the Power Moons in Odyssey?

It's a shame, because in a lot of ways this is a great game (although it's certainly not on the level of 64 or the original B-K), but the fact it becomes so hard and annoying, and the fact is seems to be so long, really do detract from it.

Not all of them. I think it's just the moon rock ones. I've not got enough crosses on the map in various levels to account for all remaining Power Moons. They are so hard to find.

Between the toad and the parrot I didn't really have to consult guides too much for moons. The purple coins were harder.

You know, even seeing where stuff is on the map, and getting to within a few metres of it, I still have trouble finding it. Wtf. I wish this game had been shorter. It's like Sunshine, but not neccesarily in a good way.

P sure you can buy all of toads hints up to the point you can actually get the moons. The parrot will tell you about 3 at a time, so you have to revisit him after you get them. Sometimes it will have to do with an area you haven't visited and it can be obscure if you dont know how to get there, but usually it's not a problem.

I bought a Bowser amiibo from Amazon just to find regional coins. I have 3 coins left in both the Snow Kingdom and Seaside Kingdom and I have no earthly idea where they are.

You could just keep buying hints from Toad until he marks the location for every single moon in the kingdom

Tried it

I looked on an IGN wiki which had screenshots and believe it or not it's a lot more trouble than it's worth looking through 33 screenshots (100 coins in Seaside kingdom) to figure out where those missing 3 are

It took me about 10 - 15 hours to beat the main game. How can you say that?

My B-K speedruns were excellent though. I got down to under 3:30, which not many people seem to get to. I remember doing RBB in under 20 minutes, and TTC in under 10 minutes.

I know that

I'm saying that you can tell what kingdom the moons are in from the art, i.e. the art you find in I think the Lost Kingdom shows you a moon in the Cascade Kingdom

Again

Trying to hunt for 3 coins when you've found 97 of them is more trouble than it's worth. I'm not interested in looking through every single spot that has hidden coins just to find which spot I overlooked

If the Bowser amiibo just tells me where those coins are then it's a one and done thing

Theyre all easy. If youre having a hard time, just follow behind the stud racer once to see what he does, then take his exact path next time. Youre faster.

No, there are 880 fucking moons. If they can't make 880 good moons, they shouldn't make 880 moons. An absolutely ridiculous amount of moons are either out in the open, gotten through simple interaction with the environment, or gotten through talking to NPCs.

Like the whole fucking point of the game is exploration and using platforming, Cappy techniques and hint art to get moons. You're acting as if they placed the vast majority of the moons on the ground directly in front of the player.

God dammit, they put this moon "out in the open" on the side of some flat pipe area. God dammit, they put a moon out in the open on some isolated platform that you need Glydon to access. Wtf, they put the moon 'out in the open' in this hidden trench that's easy to ignore if you aren't hunting for moons specifically

Just an overall stupid complaint.
