Make sure you find all the newspapers. The game drags for a while but the overlapping main story is pretty good. I love the ending.

The first half is pretty good. It actually makes a pretty good first impression.

But the game runs out of gas when it should be getting into the real exciting stuff. It becomes monotonous and the game does a poor job of hiding its gameplay structure and making it feel natural. The second half seems rushed in general.

I considered it disappointing but it's not a total disaster.

Navigating the Police buildings can be a pain in the ass if you need to find a specific room

The main story is pretty decent though. Cole fucking sucks.

Very little action, incredible special hidden vehicles. An open world game that feels like you explored 10% of when it's all said and done.

Game is decent honestly. Its gotten a bad wrap over the years for some reason. But its much better than your average open world game. Perhaps thats because it plays more like a linear game though

The game is fun, but remember its basically a linear game, not an open world. Sure the open world is there but its kind of pointless.

Also feel free to make Cole and the other characters you play as as stupid as possible. The plot will eventually continue no matter what you say.

The open workd aspects of Noire are barely in existence. 98% of the games content is in its linear story driven narrative. The open world of the game exists at best because someone thought it would be cool to drive around the LA of the 40s, and at worst because GTA had an open world.
