Fell down like two steps. Only other time that I've broken a bone, I was an infant, so this is practically a new experience. I'm also visiting my parents, so at least I am getting all that sweet parental love and assistance. I guess today will be a Hulu/Netflix day.

I broke and dislocated my big toe on July 4th last year by catching it underneath some tree roots whilst at the lake.

I mostly ignored it and never went to see anyone about it. It took like 2-3 months to set again and I would still get the odd pain from it for like 6-7 months after initial injury. I'm also pretty certain it set slightly incorrectly judging from the position of it compared to my other big toe (sticks out quite a bit further at the joint). It also looks permanently slightly bruised and the veins are way more prominent there.

So my advice would be to not be stubborn like me and go see someone about it. In hindsight, it could have been a lot worse considering I just carried on like it wasn't broken.

Fourth toe on left foot. I have a makeshift splint and used medical tape to connect fourth toe and little toe for extra stability. What I am concerned about is that I shattered my toenail. I am not looking forward for it to fall off and regrow.
