I've been getting more spam calls recently, but just today I've gotten 4. and it's only noon. the first call was at 7am wtf

Block the numbers. It isn't really that complicated, bud.

In addition to blocking any spam numbers, make sure you're on the no-call list. It sounds to me like you aren't.

The no call list is pretty much worthless today. Once they get your number, you're screwed. They don't abide by it and since they use fake numbers it's not like you can report them or anything.

And a lot of them spoof numbers now, so blocking the numbers doesn't actually do anything

It's a pretty bad situation

If its a landline just cancel it. Cell phones are the only phones anybody needs these days. If theyre getting your cell too I dunno what to suggest

I pay $2 a month to use NoMoRobo on my phone which blocks about 85% of them. It can't if they spoof it as a local number to you, but the vast majority so far do not.

Up to you if that seems worth it. There also may be alternatives.

I think blocking the local numbers actually does work since there can only be so many of those. It'll just take awhile to see results. And hopefully nobody you know ever gets one of those numbers!

set your phone to Do Not Disturb and allow calls from contacts only

(unless you need to take calls from non-contacts in which case rip)

Actually apparently apps like NoMoRobo and RoboKiller can block neighbor spoofing, now

I just don't know if they do TOO good of a job or not

Blocking doesn't matter because numbers are all spoofed. If I could block a list of like 10000 numbers then maybe

That's basically what the apps do. Like, checking now, NoMoRobbo is currently blocking... 913,013 numbers.
