I will say the that "the fly" was the worst episode.

It wasn't horrible, but it's my least favorite episode of the series. When I first watched it, it pissed me off because I was basically pumped up for an exciting BrBa episode, but had to watch that slow as molasses fly ordeal. Basically a week of hype for a boring episode.

After re-watching it on netflix, it isn't as bad as I had initially thought.

It was frustrating for the wait aspect. But I really liked the episode when I was showing someone else the series. How they could make an episode full of compelling dialog out of so little was really cool imo

The episode where Jesse is kidnapped and in the squalor house with the kid makes me so upset even to think of

It was a bottle episode. They were over budget at that point and had to bring costs down, so they used only one set location with only two of the actors (IIRC). It was kind of a necessary evil.

That said, they still did a pretty good job of making the episode mean something. Most of the time bottle episodes are garbage.
