I am a complete coffee pleb. Is the ground coffee you buy and place in the paper filters in your coffee machine considered instant coffee? I use that at home and k-cups at the office.

no.

instant coffee is like brewed and then freeze dried (before packaging) iirc. normal ground coffee isn't processed like that. Idk about k cups tho, that might depend on the brand

actually i don't think k cups are either, you can use regular ground coffee in the reusable ones and it comes out normally

yeah. but i've tried those and those are decent. this instant "coffee mix" thing are the real garbage. like it's like sugary water with artificial coloring to make it looks like coffee
