This is all I want from CoD at this point really

Xbox One X has been my favorite console purchase for a while now because of this glorious BC, all my games on one console

Still have my 360 attached but it's only for 360 exclusive games

The DLC maps being cheap and active really help too, because good god the vanilla maps were easily the worst part of the game

This sums up how I feel. BO2 is my all-time favorite, with MW1/MWR in second, but MW3 is up near the top as well. MW3 was also the CoD that I was the absolute worst at when it was the current/active game, but I still had lots of fun playing it. It takes a very well-designed game for me to have fun while playing it even though I sucked at it.

Coming back to it years later, with a lot more experience under my belt, I might be able to do better at it now.

It's still pretty populated now too, had no problem playing Demolition (my favorite)

Nobody ever aimed for higher air support like the AC-130 because there was so much cover to hide in if someone got it, so everyone went for UAVs and IMS and the occasional Predator

The DLC maps are all great though, way more in line with MW2 maps

I'm thinking of doing an overkill class with specialist, I don't know what to use as second primary though. Don't really need shotguns because there's no marathon lightweight knifers. And I don't remember them being very good anyway

Do launchers replenish with Scavenger? Haven't tested it yet but if they do then definitely that

Otherwise people overlook the handguns, but the 44 Magnum has no recoil and will drop people in two shots

The MP9 is also very low maintenance and can save you reliably

I might go with the MP9 for most classes but for an overkill class I'm not sure which primaries to use. UMP/MP7 and... Some AR maybe, or a sniper?

An assault rifle for mid-long range and an AA-12 for close quarters was my go-to

ACR is baby mode but I can forgive you if it's for a Specialist class

I think the ACR might have been my least used AR by the end of my time playing MW3. The others were just more satisfying to use. I might see if the AK47 feels right and go with that.

I used the AC-130 a bunch and it was just as effective as any other ac 130. If it saw any drop in usage it would be because the reaper was a little bit easier to get.

Also I loved the hell out of the FAD for some reason. That large clip great. Also remember the LMGs with thermal sights were lasers.

SCAR-L (with no optics, don't you dare take the best sights in the game for granted)

Type 95 (one shot death machine)

Haha me too with same set up. Iirc it has some special characteristics (I cant remember if it had faster ADS strafing or a headshot damage bonus)

You dont need to limit yourself to ARs for run and gun though. MP7 and a few lmgs can wreck people.

My favorite thing about MW3 is that it brought stance into the recoil game. LMGs are teamwipe machines. The Barrett when you are prone is hilariously accurate.

Specialist with the riot shield and C4 is extremely fun

Actually now that I think about it, I might have used suppressor and heartbeat sensor on the FAD since it had a good magazine size already.

Also I forgot about the SCAR-L, I might run around with that one in a couple hours.
