yeah she has tried to distance herself form that role for decades
its why she quit the show in the first place. she didnt want to be known as just the pink ranger

though she has mellowed out about it in recent years even asking to get a cameo in the reboot

I was in kindergarten when this first aired. Our school would let out about 15 minutes before the show would air so my brother and I used to run home from school in order to watch it.

25 years ago, I flipped through the channels looking for the premier episode of Power Rangers. I stopped when I saw this image:



Dinosaurs? Teenagers? Aliens trying to take over the world? This had to be it. But, no, I'd ended up watching the last half-hour of Killer Klowns from Outer Space instead.

i mean from a story standpoint i understand it was just to get her to the circus tent for the climax with the other main characters

but they could have just not sent her home and she would have ended up there with the other characters anyway eventually

I continued to lie to myself and insist that it was the first episode of Power Rangers. There was a surprising amount of overlap. The two comedic relief characters in the ice cream truck paralleled Bulk and Skull in a way. And, come on, how do you get dinosaur imagery and teenagers battling aliens? That's an oddly specific thing for two different shows to have in common.

This anniversary episode was pretty much a tommy wank episode with other rangers.

Tommy gets his own fight with multiple morphs. He's shown to have a "master morpher" which allows him to morph between all of his previous forms (except turbo red). Tommy also saves the day at the end by catching an arrow the monster shot mid flight, redirecting it back to him, causing the monster to blow up. On the bright side, tommy was holding hands with Katherine at the end implying they did end up getting married. On the other side of things. The episode clearly used quite a bit of stock footage from shurikenger and they didnt even give the other rangers their own personal morphing sequences like they did with tommy. :/

Man, this could have been great as a two parter with a proper budget, instead everything was super rushed. Also Tommy x Kat confirmed.

Did I see a MMPR Red Ranger in one of the trailers? Also, did Tommy morph into that Black Dino Ranger (or whatever it was called, I never watched that series) at all?

Yeah, mmpr red is here, but it's Rocky :/. He had some lame lines, but then again a lot of the legendary rangers did.

Forever Red is the only good anniversary episode. Other than JDF, the showrunners never seem to bring back the oldest veterans.

No only Green, White, and Red Zeo, but the Black Ranger does appear.

Love the Green Ranger and he'll always be my favorite ranger of all time, but White Dino Thunder and Zeo Gold are far superior and need more love in these anniversary episodes.
