That's what I hear. I think I only played World 2 and maybe 3 tho, where the story revolved around dungeon crawling. Does Next Order actually have a story tho or is it just raising and entering tournaments and whatnot?

there's chapter trophy's so i'm led to believe there's a story out of it. even if the story bad it's still there.

yes there is a story, very anime-like, there are dungeon crawling, tournaments, gym training, alot to do, end game is fun too

only annoying thing it trying to collect all the cards for the achievement and some of the digimon you gotta recruit in the town can be challenging

It's awesome once you get the hang of it.
It's like World 1, but things are explained better.
If you get it, there's a tips guide here that's extremely useful!

There is a story, and I like it a lot.
It actually is a sequel to World 1, and the main kid from it is in the game.

Obviously I recommend it...

Dope. I love Digimon games and was kinda disappointed to hear Hacker's Memory was basically a cut and paste of Cyber Sleuth. Definitely gonna get it when I get home from work.

Also, how is the digivolution system in this game? Is it casualized like as of late where practically any Digimon can digivolve into anything as long as you fuse and devolve enough? And I'm hoping it has a good amount of digimons yes?

There is no devolving so you're set on one evolution path. Only way to go for another is to let them die, then you get a new Digi-Egg in its place.

The digimon evolve after a set time has passed in game and what they evolve into is based on their stats at the time. There are ways later in the game to evolve into specific Digimon but early on, you're evolving blind.
There are lot of Digimon, quite of few of them are just recolors though.

Awesome. As cool as it is to have ant Digimon digivolve into anything it kinda ruins the uniqueness factor of the lower levelled Digimon and less feeling of accomplishment.
