Its like telltale game, but have deeper mechanics and waaay more intriguing story on par with 2012 telltale quality instead of trashy b movie level writing like post 2015 telltale.

It plays like an agatha christie mystery with a hint of the occult. It basically take place in 1 mansion, but they did a good job of keeping stuff fresh so far. I think all episodes will be out in december and so far they have been prettt on schedule with their release

...this is certainly in full play. Not a knock against the enjoyment factor of this game or the people who made it, but let's not pretend that it goes leaps and bounds beyond Telltale games in this department.

They suddenly laid off about all of their employees and announced that they are shutting down and cutting TWD short. It all went down yesterday. It was supposed to have 5 episodes I believe but are now cutting it off after the 2nd.

I would like to remind everyone that the cancellation of TWD Final is not confirmed. No official word has been released on that. The only thing that has been confirmed is that Episode 2 is coming out next week as planned, but nothing promised one way or the other beyond that.

Its completion is in serious *doubt*, certainly, but not confirmed.

For games, there's nothing else to wrap up. There's talk that they're finishing work on a Minecraft Netflix series, but I'd need a corroboration on that, not just Matt Kim on USGamer.

Their games weren't selling that well. TWD season 1 was just that, a one hit wonder. When you play one Telltale game, you played them all. Never changed their engine and always played it safe with every entry. Not to say they didn't have good games like The Wolf Among Us and Tales from Borderlands, but people after awhile were just getting tired how stale their games were. The new Batman game tried to do different things (like having episode 5 have 2 completely different segments depending on the choices you made), but it ultimately couldn't save it.

Bullshit. The Wolf Among Us was outstanding. It's the only one of their games that I actually bothered to run out and buy a physical copy of.
