i mean it's an anime from manga with yaoi or yaoi undertones, it's actually about gangster drama with gay shit in it.

the story and character is really profound, and legitimately interesting. the gay stuff are just probably fanservice since it was shoujo magazine that published it, but even if you're not into that stuff it is legitimately good.

i am episode 2 in, and it feels like yakuza in new york.

The story is about this guy infiltrating mafia, that he suspect have something to do with drugs that made his brother (or maybe lover, and he used brother as an excuse the doctor) bound in wheelchair when he got sent to war.

The main character also (episoe 2 spoiler was sexually abused as a child, and got accused of killing his abuser, who is a part of the gang member. The police is charge and the judges are in the don's pocket and falsely accused him of murder

So yeah, the yaoi tones is funny, but they dont play around with the issues and themes they wanna show.

It is mature in a good way i guess.
