The lesson: do not go to heritage centres.
I thought it was gonna be like a cool museum, with interesting displays and some activities. As far as I could tell, it was just a largish room with lots of reference books in. Basically, a library. I thought it was going to be a bit more, I don't know...user friendly and interesting. Plus, the building was put together in such a way that whenever you tried to go to a different area, it felt like you were trespassing. it was strange. It wasn't obvious where you could and couldn't go. None of this would've mattered, but it was about a 45 minutes walk there (except it took me a lot longer, because I was wondering around, exploring the edge of my town). No wonder so many people hate heritage centres, and similar stuff. --- It has been 0 days since something interesting happened. A three hour tour, a three hour tour... ... Copied to Clipboard!
