Is a substory where Kenshiro helps out Lin at a shop in the bazaar she's running, and of course Lin has a super crush on Ken despite being, let's say, several years younger.

After he finishes helping out, Ken leaves and we're treated to an internal monologue of Lin basically saying she hates to see him go, but she loves watching him leave.

And it just seemed so weird and out of character for Lin that I just pretty much died laughing on the spot.

I DL'd the demo and did not expect it to me Yakuza in a different realm. I have like 4 Yakuzas to keep up with tho.

It starts off seeming very Yakuzie (base moveset, substories, minigames), but it does go in a few different directions.

The combat requires you to learn about Channeling Points and Meridian Shock and some more complicated stuff than the Yakuza "hit people until Heat fills, then spend Heat on face smashing".

There's a giant Wasteland outside the city, and it's basically used to find hidden treasure, gather materials, and fight bad guys. It's mostly empty, but it is something different.

Oh, and the JP cast is almost entirely people who worked on the Yakuza series before. :)

Haven't seen everything, but the "humble shoulder pad merchant" getting bullied is my favorite moment thus far.

He is just too goddamn adorable.
