This kinda hurt because S2 was legit fine
And it did end on a "I wonder what will happen with Luke" kind of way
Not a cliffhanger, but something to look forward too
Still, I guess S1 of both shows sucked so much and first impressions are imoortant

Yeah. Luke Cage went from like most watched Netflix show in season 1 to cancelled after 2 seasons.

Some of it I am sure has to do with Disney. Some of it has to probably do with the quality.

Yeah I just heard of this Disney thing, this is new to me
And I also heard some speculations about "Heroes for Hire" cross-over
Both of them can happen, and yet it's hard to ignore the fact that the S1 of both of these shows were the worst-received in terms of quality, so I assume less people watched their S2

That's a shame, season 2 was quite good and it left Luke in an interesting place. I guess they don't want to sacrifice Danny Rand but can't afford to put him in his own show so they're going to make a Heroes for Hire show instead?

It's pretty weird that apparently Marvel intends to continue IF, maybe on the Disney streaming service, yet there are no such plans for Luke Cage, even though that was only cancelled because of creative differences between Marvel and Netflix.

Possibly used marketing data to determine the audience for a black working class superhero vs a rich white guy superhero were very different and expect the streaming service for Disney to cater to the latter. Only thing I can think of.
