I thought about going to PAX there until I calculated the price for a whole weekend. Event, hotel, gas, food... I feel for as much as I enjoy games that I should make the effort to attend an industry show someday. On the other hand I'm not great at spending large amounts of money at once.

have you tried good oysters or are you just not really into the idea of them? if you have had good ones, and you didn't like them, fair enough - if you haven't, worth trying - you might be surprised

It's in May. I think there's a Red Sox game that weekend and a college graduation. So it's gonna be hard to find accommodations.

There was an Aerosmith reunion concert myself and few friends were trying to get to in the late 90 in the stadium the Bruins used to play at. We could literally pull over on the side of the highway and touch the damned building from the highway if we leaned over the edge.

It still took almost an hour from the nearest highway exit just to park the car at the venue.

I'm from CT, but I really hate Boston more than any other metropolis east of the Mississippi by an order of magnitude. No sane or rational urban planning organization would allow this city to continue existing in this form despite burning to the ground twice in 300 years. They literally had a blank slate twice and chose to remake this cluster fuck twice. And then as they filled in the back Bay little by little they only made it worse. It's like trying to navigate a fucking fingerprint.

LeosAxe was from the area and even he couldn't explain how anyone navigates Boston.
