No, instead spend all the time and money on opening up more places to register and vote, extend early voting times, and make a push for election day to be a federal holiday and/or push for it to be a weekend day like many other Western nations.

And as for voter ID stuff, perhaps look into pushing for a national registration of all legal citizens to vote, completely free, and give legal residents an actual ID that would allow them to vote. At least the first time should be completely free with MAYBE a small charge for changes within a year or something.
