Doesnt matter if Im using a chrome cast, my Xbox one, PS4, a smart tv or someone elses phone, its always complete anus and makes me so frustrated. How the fuck does a massive company like Google make it this bad? Fuck them, stupid assholes.

Im not using Bluetooth, Im using my WiFi. Doesnt matter where Im at its constantly trash. The people involved in making this should be fired and never work again in their lives unless its at taco bell

If you know fuck all about either standard, you'd know there is nothing you can do about your neighbor's microwave or aquarium pump. Unless you're going to wallpaper your residence in tinfoil.

Perhaps why it works so well where I live. I don't live in a fucking apartment where I can hear my neighbors when they fart. (Or those mobile home parks where they pack the fuckers in as tightly as possible)

Having a yard you have to mow is a hassle but I'll take that for not having to hear everything my neighbors do. Guess by what you say there is extra benefits as well

I have a chromecast and I use my Samsung Galaxy S9 with it and it works fine for me.
It was pretty bad when I had a cheaper phone(Samsung A3).
I've mostly used it for Netflix though.

no one in here knows how youtube casting works.

it's not bluetooth, it's wifi. choosing to cast to a device on your network only works if: the device is on your internet network, and if your youtube account is the same as the one you're casting from.

when cast, your device turns into a remote control, essentially, and the device you cast to starts a youtube app and plays the video.

where this turns to ass is on streaming sticks like chromecast, which can't run apps. it has to stream a virtual form of the app. this doesn't explain why he has issues with it when he does it to an xbox or ps4, since those just start the native apps.
