If not, what's your situation now?
I grew up in St. Louis, moved to Phoenix by myself four years ago. It's still culture shock for me. I honestly have never felt at home here. I'm white, but I grew up in the hood, and honestly don't feel comfortable in groups entirely of white people who only like country and shit, which is most people here outside the city. All the black folks live in the west valley, I live and work in the east valley. Plus, out here, no one says hi to eachother in neighborhoods and shit, people seem so unfriendly. Yeah. And I got a house here now and not a lot of ambition. As long as a few of my family members stay around too, Im not going anywhere. My happiness really seems to come from within anyway.

I haven't been home in 4 years. Haven't seen my parents or siblings since.
