So there is a sticker on my printer along with a notice. It id basically about preventing counterfeits and the printer is coded to recognize money, and preventd you from scanning them.
I tried it, doesnt work on smaller bill i think, but it works for large bills. It scan, and midway it just show an error message and cancels the process. Consumer electronics having DRM-tier stuff like that weirds me out. Reminds me of those printers that only accept the brand name ink cartridge because of microchipping or whatever. It's like if you bought an oven and it didn't let you bake Digiornos, only Tombstones
