Learn how to read:

Nearly two thirds of those arrested 109 in total had no criminal record, the agency said. Another 61 of those arrested did have criminal records, but ICE did not specify the crimes and said it could not break down convictions by violent and nonviolent offenses.

(...)

Just under 80 percent of people screened by ICE during the sponsorship process showed results that they were not in the country legally, the agency said.

The 61 who were arrested were probably arrested for employment robbery because trump supporters tell me that immigrants steal jobs.

Holy shit, nearly 80% to respond were illegal immigrants? Thank God ICE was there to enforce the law.

Simple logic dictates that the 170 immigrants that were arrested are the 80% of applicants that were found to be here illegally, not that 80% of the 170 that were arrested are illegal. Prove me wrong.

So, they were suspected of being here illegally and either 80% of those arrested were here illegally or they arrested 80% of the total number of would be sponsors because they were found to be here illegally. The language is vague enough that it could be either.

Either way, it mostly supports his point. 80% is an overwhelming majority of that group.

In your typical words: nope.

They have just as much burden of proof for their claim that the 170 includes both legal and illegal immigrants despite other articles saying the arrest count includes only the undocumented (see below) as my claim that the number arrested only consists of illegals which I have backed up as of this post.
