If you think you are going to take it on the go, get a screen protector and a carrying case.

It plays any Switch game of your choice!
Maybe get a case and protection if you play lots away from home. No real warnings or anything but you can update the controllers through the system. It fixes a lot of syncing problems. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. ... Copied to Clipboard!

i recommend a screen protector even if you don't think you'll travel with it because docking/undocking can leave scratches if you aren't very careful. i got a nice tempered glass one for $10, it even came with two in the package in case i screwed one up.
the default joycon controller isn't very comfortable, IMO. i recommend shelling out the $70 for the Pro Controller, even if it's on the expensive side. i vastly prefer it to the joycons. the online is ~$20/year and includes access to the NES emulator they provide. --- Playing: God of War, Soul Calibur VI, Smash Ultimate (~);} - I suppose it will all make sense when we grow up - {;(~) ... The dock scratching is a very minor/rare defect. My screen and millions of others are just fine. Not that protectors are expensive or anything lol.

The touch screen is about as normal as any others I've dealt with. Glass protection might bug you.
I don't understand the second question. Digital downloads and physical purchases are different. You can't buy Mario physically and simply download it. Go physical for now unless you want or have a spare SD card. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. ... Copied to Clipboard!

There was a rash of third party docks that were killing Switches earlier in the year, so be careful about that You usually won't need a second dock unless you like wasting money. You can just use portable or wall chargers that are like $30. --- People are afraid of what they don't understand. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Hm, btw is the screen touch screen even? I never use screen protectors since I feel it makes the touch feel so bad. The Switch has a plastic touchscreen which makes it much more crack resistant than phones and tablets but also way way way more susceptible to scratching. My dock hasn't scratched my screen at all, even with falling forward with the Switch in it, but you should still get a screen protector if ever you plan on using it as a portable Switch is also the last system where a physical copy is actually played off of the cartridge itself and not installed onto the system, which is great because that'll save you SD card space but also you gotta keep up with your games and they are teeny tiny. --- Join the Nintendo Fun Club today, Mac! ...
