I hate this more than sites that have ads pop up like 5 seconds after you open the page, and you are about to click something, and the page shifts up or down an inch when the "ad loads" and you inadvertently click the ad as a result. It's honestly bullshit. Some sites have like a ton of articles on one page, and it blasts sound from a video and you can't even find the video that's playing to pause or stop it. The worst is sites that insist that I turn off my ad blocker, then when I white list the site, it proceeds to load up roughly 1 million ads which cripple my old ass laptop, then roughly 3 minutes later when the ads are finally finished loading, and I attempt to scroll down, it proceeds to load more ads, rendering my browser unresponsive.
