I'm almost finished with the first game. I'm wondering if the II is worth the price.

it's tied with Bloodborne as being the best game to come out this gen, for me.

and I say that as someone who reality enjoyed the first Red Dead Redemption.

The story is better as well as the characters, however, it's much more slow paced in comparison to RDR1.

They have very different paces. I don't know what you favor. I thought RDR was good but nowhere near as amazing as everyone made it out to be. RDR2 is probably top 10 for me

I think they compliment each other really well. I love both of them.

After RDR2, RDR was kinda painful to play, but I absolutely loved it when it came out. RDR2 was a masterpiece though. It was like playing a western novel

It really depends on what you are into

RDR1 is more silly, more satirical and more action based

RDR2 is story heavy, long unskippable cutscenes, immense amounts of dialogue and unreal attention to detail.

In many ways RDR2 is a Masterpiece but if you just want to ride around on a horse and shot bandits + laugh at funny jokes it'll bore the pants off you and it has some really wacky game design fails making it awkward.

I'd say RDR2 is much better but the reality is that it just depends on what kind of game you like.

RDR1 is an incredible experience, in my top 20 favorite games easy. RDR2 blows it out of the water in nearly every way.

I think it would be cool if they remastered RDR1 and put it as a DLC or something to make it like one huge complete game

65% of RDR1's map is in RDR2 for literally no reason whatsoever.

I know!!! Its like made for it!

I'm pretty much hyped to play the 2nd one now. I checked out some videos and it showed me that i have to feed my gang or something like that. It seems really interesting.
