I loved the batmobile, and so loved Knight. It hinges on that imo, so I can get people not liking it.

Batmobile isnt even the worst part about Knight. The entire formula is just too bloated. Predator Rooms are the worst they've been because although enemies have like 20 gadgets now, Batman has like 200 and tool management is just about thrown out the window. Side quests are terribly bland, whoever thought each villain should be a glorified mission type hub should be slapped

I heard Origins has the best bosses in the series. Knight has the worst, plus that horrible batmobile. Should have been a homerun but they really fucked up.

City is awesome but I prefer Asylum for being more confined and Knight for being bigger. I don't have a problem with the Batmobile.

The Batmobile was actually pretty enjoyable. It was just overused.

I would say Asylum > City > Knight, but I don't think any of them are that far apart from each other. They're all really good. I still have to get around to Origins one of these days.

City is the one where they got it perfect, not to small but not to big either for the world.

Origins did have the best boss fights but only due to Batman still being a rookie crime fighter.

Asylum and City are both near perfect, but I gotta give it to Asylum because I just love the overall ambience of the game.

Origins is criminally underrated.

And yeah Knight is just ok. I have a lot of stupid little issues with that game but they all kind of add up.

People complained about this a lot so I had low expectations going inot the game, but there was less batmobile stuff than people said and the sections that did require the batmobile were extremely easy so I didn't get why people were complaining about it. That being said, the game is overall less fun than Asylum and City. I think each game was slightly worse than the one that came before it

Asylum is definitely the best. Story and level design were in full swing in that game.

City had a dumb story but it was fun enough to finish. I dropped Knight eventually. Never played Origins

I only played Asylum and City, but Asylum is way better imo. I absolutely loved the metroidvania feel to that game. In fact I think its the best 3d metroidvania ever made. (Unless you want to count dark souls 1)

City was good, but felt more like a batman gta game which is fine but I prefer the original

City = Asylum > Knight >>> Origins.

Knight has issues but Origins has way worse issues, namely that the combat feels jank in a way that the other games do not. It's very clear it wasn't made by the same team.

The worst thing to me about Origins is the level design. So uninspired and not believable. Takes me right out.

Origins felt like cheap dlc for City. It's not a bad game, just completely forgettable. Definitely the worst of the series.

Asylum is the best game, City has the best gameplay and extra playable characters, Knight also has really good gameplay but it doesn't gel together as well as City.

Imo the cool thing about Asylum is that it's essentially a metroidvania game.

Asylum is by far the best of trilogy, it had the best setting, story and atmosphere, the only letdown was the final fight which is just a roided Joker.

City just tried to be Asylum but bigger, and for me it wasn't better. It is still is a great game, don't get me wrong and it had some really memorable fights like with Dr. Freeze. It also had the bullshit online pass that would cut out the Catwoman episodes if you bought it second hand.

Knight had a much better setting/atmosphere than City, and I loved the Batmobile. The tone was also different, which was a huge plus for me, it was much more personal/emotional. All the sidequests were well done and fleshed out. Some were rather short and not to hard, but still well worth it and their little stories added for me. Got to admit, I got the GOTY edition and the Season of Infamy was the best DLC out of all the games.
