I'm the kind of person who is usually thin. I tend to be either thin, slim, or skinny. Which is good! I like that about myself. Over the last year or so, however, I seem to have put on quite a weight. I won't bore you with exactly how much I weigh, but I'd describe myself as medium build. My body looks decent, but I do have a stomach, and one of those stupid layers of fat around my waist. I want to get back down to either slim or thin.

I'm planning to basically diet for about 3 weeks, and aim to lose between half a stone and a stone. I'm just gonna do what I used to, when I wanted to shift some weight. I'll just eat 2 meals a day. Dinner, which is a big meal, and supper, which is a medium-sized to small meal. No snacks whatever. I *am* pretty bad for snacking throughout the day. This has proven VERY effective in the past.

I doubt I'll be exercising, except for light exercise, i.e. walking places. Exercising had never really lost me any weight at all. Dieting has proven much more effective. So, yeah, looking to get down from medium build to slim, and perhaps a few months down the line due to careful eating, thin.

That's the plan, anyway. Dieting does take a LOT of willpower, though. Feeling hungry almost all the time isn't easy, and of course, boredom eating is sometimes hard to avoid.

Thoughts on all this?

Yea I'm pretty slim myself but I do show a little pot belly, but my waist looks good.

Looks better if I stand or walk stiff and strait up... but who outside of the military does that ?

fasting and losing a meal.
seems legit if you got the results you wanted.

not properly dieting but luckily its temporary. to each, their own right?

belly. belly, belly...
light walking + maybe add some strengthening exercise like planks. you target belly by engaging your core muscles. takes effort to hold form and you can hold the plank position. ...AND all you have to do is spend 1min on the ground holding yourself up for a few seconds in umm, lets start out with 3 sets. 3 weeks of it and maybe youll want more and there are ways to plank in duration and position. yeehaw! youre gonna luv it.

belly is tough to get rid of without effort and consistency. maybe making light walking and planks can be something you can integrate in your life. if you do planks, 3 weeks of it isnt a bad start. 1month means youre getting into it, you feel it, want to do more. 3 months of planks and youre working it out keeping it challenging. 6 months keep it up, core changes life. 9 months almost there, effort & consistency. before you know it 1 year from when you started planking. all it took was spending a few minutes on the floor holding yourself up, engaging your core muscles.
