I'm playing the patched version and never played it when it first came out. I hated just cause 3, loved 2.

4 is honestly the best one. Way way more tools to have fun with, an actual aim down sights function, the vehicles thankfully don't handle as awfully as jc3. Every gun has an alternative fire mode.

This game honestly feels like jc2 ramped up to 11. I've spent so much time just doing stupid stunts and it's great. There's a working nuke you can tether to a plane and drop it on stuff too lol.

Just cause 3 looked like an early access game. 4 seems to be a big step up.

I only played 2 though.

JC3 disappointed me hard apart from the wingsuit, and I was surprised when I heard JC4 had come out because I didn't see any advertising or talk about it. I'll give it a look because of this topic though.

I put about 20 hours into it and really didn't have much left to do but there were like 2 missions that were so annoying that I just quit.
Seriously the AI is just so damn annoying sometimes. Like there are 20 of them and they never miss a shot. So you gotta hack some computer and go without getting hit for 10 seconds but it's impossible.

Like all the games, the side missions tend to be....underwhelming to say the least.
