Let's say it is magic, how it works is the magic spell scan your DNA, and calculate your cell replication and telomere degradation rate, and make a approximate lifespan with margin of error 1 year at the biggest.

If you take the deal, 20 years will be taken off from that calculation, but at the same time, each cells in your body are given enhancement so the telomere degradation stop at the age of 35, so you are always at the level of 35 years old.

You can still die from external damages like car accident, or something. You still can contract pathogen related disease like flu, but you become immune to any genetic caused ilness like cancer or any other ilness caused by faulty body, immune system, etc.

No, you can't know how long you are gonna live naturally. When time is up, assuming you dont die from getting shot, or drown, or break your neck in the shower, contract super deadly strain of influenza, got poisoned, etc you would just go to sleep and die quietly in your sleep.

It will cure pre existing condiroon like cancer or allergy, but not pathogen based disease like HIV, or hepatitis, tuberculosis, etc.

Your immune system will be perfectly healthy, but they dont gain superpowers, so disease that are too much for human body to handle will still hurt you.

Mines something I was born with so Id say it qualifies for cure. Dope. Which also applies to my scoliosis. This would be like a second chance for me :3. Im not mad at where Im at tho.

You ever get it checked out? My back is a lot less of a mystery to doctors as my stomach problem ism but then again you can look at my back and it looks like someone kicked my spine out of place

Those doctors sound like idiots. Did they never give you the curve numbers for your scoliosis? I know Im above 40 curve in whatever they measure it with. Lower back pain runs my life and I take opioids to not feel pain when I go out. If I want to have a full day I can take up to 8 and still have to make sure I don't do too much. It definitely became just managing pain instead of fixing it for me. I actually looked into surgery earlier this month and the doctor said the surgery would be a mostly cosmetic change. I admit tho, right now I kind of just want to accept that as fact because it lets me avoid the scary ass surgery. Im going back in a year to see if my back is getting any worse or staying the same. Leaving my 20s behind Im kind of just becoming content with a minimalist life as a result and just putting my time into activities with family and friends. If I had more ambition Im sure I could use my mind for something but that hasn't jumped off >_>

the doctors at Shriner's Hospital when i was getting treated there definitely knew what they were doing, and told me the degrees of my curvatures and stuff. the Shriner's in Sacramento specialized in spinal conditions and burns, so that was their cup of tea. i don't really have any issue with my treatment there, except for the fact that they just basically cut you loose when you turn 18 and have no meaningful adult aftercare program, since it is a free hospital for children of low income families specifically.

the doctors i've seen since are a different story altogether. with that jackass who made me get x-rays for no reason, i was kinda hoping to determine if my curvatures had progressed any in the 15 years since i had been wearing the brace. but no one was able to tell me anything about that. not the doctor, not the pain management guy, nothing.

as for opioids, i'm really wary of taking anything like that because of all the horror stories i've heard about dependencies and overdosing and shit. not that any doctor i've seen has been willing to even suggest prescribing me something like that. when i absolutely have to, i mostly just take extra strength OTC meds like Aleve and Tylenol. tbh i don't even like relying on pills like that, so i don't know if i'd even be comfortable taking anything stronger. i barely even go out anywhere anymore because i don't want to be have to be dosed up to the eyeballs just to live a normal social life.

I got an MRI earlier this year to update me on my curvature. You should try to get one those if you can. Opioids are definitely a pro and con type deal. I could get into it but when you have 10 years under your belt that list can fill a book.

dont get hooked on opiates thats all I can say. Im an odd duck where I am not very addictable to them but Ive known others and they went through hell
