Character models have been cleaned up, but the animations have not, and the result is visually ... odd, if that makes any sense. Very little has been done to the backgrounds. Granted, I love FF8, and I am not sorry about getting this version, but perfection this is not. I like how it has cleaned up and also how it synchronised across my devices so when I go travelling I can take the GPD WIN 2 or when Im at home I can play on my desktop or TV through steam link. Its still annoying that its all old aspect ratios but nothing could be done about it.
