She said she was looking for homes for them so I asked my boyfriend and he said we should go for it. I'm nervous and feel kinda guilty but I think it'll be okay. Of course old pets are never replaced nor forgotten. I'm actually thinking of keeping the tortoiseshell kitten in out garden. I feel like having another pet at this point and the owners don't seem to care about their cat or it's kittens. By that, I mean the first night he slept in my bed, he got up at night and peed on the puppy pad I had on my bed. I had put it there in case he had an accident and I needed to clean up. They are almost certainly going to end up peeing in your house at first. Gettimg them a sort of crib/playpen will help to contain it. Get some pee pads and encourage their use when they're inside, but always try to get them outside and praise the living fuck out of them when they do it there. It's like pretty much anything else with a dog. You can teach them through negative reinforcement, but it's not gonna be as easy or effective, the dog is gonna hate it, and you always run the risk of crossing the line into straight up abuse. --- I am your shepherd cloaked in obscenity.
