And if you believe that one race is discriminated against more than the other by the general population, would it be more or less significant that a member of the more discriminated race would be elected president?

Yang is barely in the race at this point and he was barely in it from the beginning. Blaming race just hides that he's a lousy candidate losing on his own merits (or lack thereof)
