Are there actual studies, or statistical evidence, to support the argument that many incels go around killing people?

Basically less available females means more violent (especially sexually violent) men. The women don't appear to be affected, so it's basically mainly men (who already did the vast majority of the violence to begin with).

Given that incels tend to spout hateful and often violent anti-female rhetoric, yes I'd expect there is a link.

As a man, your entire worth in life is basically tied to your ability to get a woman (a lot of us don't have this personal view, it's just how society views men). If you're completely unable to do this for whatever reason, it makes sense that you're not going to have a healthy mindset or life experience. We put way too much emphasis on what it means to get laid and sex is pushed on you constantly from a young age (not literally, just in advertising and movies and such).

At the end of the day it's still very much a mental health issue, and this is just one of many triggers for someone who is already susceptible to this sort of behaviour. I didn't get laid in my teens and I never hated women or thought about taking it out on anyone else. Some dudes that have walked in and shot a place up had girlfriends or even wives. You also have serial killers like Ted Bundy who were apparently quite charming and enticing to women their whole lives. Though it does seem to be a trend that a lot of these guys aren't doing well with women. There's a lot more to life than just getting pussy, but I guess they just think "Fuck it, I got no reason to live" and then take out their aggression on others.

Society obviously plays a role, but I mean that's literally the entire purpose of a male from a biological standpoint. If you ancestors didn't pass their genes on you wouldn't be here today. If you cannot succeed in passing your genes on it's because women aren't interested in them. Now the disconnect is in modern society you can have sex without getting pregnant easily and many incentives decouple us from purely running on biology, but it's not "how society views men", if anything society is much more charitable than the state of nature would be in this regard.

I don't think it's a mental health issue -- mentally ill people are not more violent than neurotypical people.

I think it has to do with a few things:
-men feeling entitled to another person's body
-women having more bodily autonomy and being more capable of turning them down
-stigma surrounding men who display any emotion other than anger

People with a conduct disorder or antisocial personality disorder are absolutely more violent than neurotypical people.

Although I suppose the argument could be made that those diagnoses are just given to people who are already violent, but if were doing that we might as well just go full dianetics.

this is on the money imo, i see it primarily as teens/young adults with very poor social adjustment who are unable to adapt to the changing social climate in today's society

There is likely a small correlation, but it's silly to act like there is any particular danger statistically. Major incidents are still going to be limited to one in a million people at most.

Not all incels are homicidal, not all homicidal maniacs are incels. So...there's not really any major connection.

I do think the incel mindset is troublesome though. There's no way being "involuntarily celibate" is a thing, even the fattest, ugliest fucker can get laid. Look at Boogie, prime example of that. You just need to buck up and have some confidence instead of going "woe is me" all the time. And if every woman still turns you down after that, either change your standards or change your personality. There's no way you're going to be 100% disliked purely by your genes.

Violence towards them? One time a googled this girl who has spoken badly about incels in a YT video.

One of the first results indicated some incels being mad about what she said. I clicked the result and lo and behold, I was in a topic full of incels, it was an incel forum.

I kid you not. Half the replies were about how they wished this girl was dead and that they could sniff her feet. Some of them were saying they would like to sniff her feet after she dies. They were legit angry too, it was like if a guy who had tourette syndrome was complaining about something, and between each sentence he would blurt something about sniffing feet.

I closed out of that tab and said... these people need to be [moddable offense].

Point taken. Though in the end I always believe there's someone out there for anyone. So don't lose hope, man.
