I remember when my dad would dry his crotch while drying my hair which was crorch level standing up around 7 years olds it was more efficient he said.

I work at a vegas hotel and I've seen some of them do it. The towel thing is reserving a spot at the pool with a towel and other cultures like americans don't know what the towel represents.

I'm from Turkey and in my country a towel on a pool chair means the chair has been dried.
