i only played the first level but it was solid. Obv cant judge from that

however it does have some interesting and novel gimmicks: the final level (the titular Impossible lair) is the very first level you can play, and completing each other level gives you an extra hit point for it. also, you can manipulate every level via over world puzzles to change them drastically (I.e. if you flood an area in the overworks with a level, it becomes a water level)

seems like a pretty lengthy game overall

For what its worth they dont hide that thats the style of game it is

in the tutorial level they tell you even a stubborn ape could roll jump

Lol, accurate. And sometimes buying GV is just as good as getting the name brand stuff.

Oh, and those who are curious, this game does the BotW thing where the final level (The Impossible Lair) can be reached at any time, and tracks how many tries you've attempted. As the name implies though, the level is "impossible" meaning you'd have to be super skilled to get through without the extra hits you acquire by beating the other levels. It's a nice challenge, I bet at some point we'll see someone beat The Impossible Lair from the start.
