Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order?
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order? Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order? Like, is "Star Wars Jedi" gonna be its own subseries? I'm sure EA would want it to continue if it goes well, but... Like do you even need the "Jedi" part? Would people not understand whether or not a Jedi was in it? *checks* Yep, there are lightsabers on the boxart. --- CyricZ ... Copied to Clipboard!

Anyway, the whole "sequels get weird titles" is its own issue, but this game has problems out of the gate in terms of titling.

Actually I know it would never pass through marketing, but what about the concept of just not having "Star Wars" be part of the title?
I just looked up the list of Star Wars games, and apparently X-Wing and later TIE Fighter did not have "Star Wars" as part of their written title. "Star Wars" appears on the box (bracketing the main title), but it seems the SKU itself only said "X-Wing" or "TIE Fighter". They were pretty much the only ones to do that, though. It'd be a ballsy move, is what I'm saying. --- CyricZ ... Copied to Clipboard!

Actually I know it would never pass through marketing, but what about the concept of just not having "Star Wars" be part of the title? I think Star Wars video games as a whole need to be revitalized before any game can get away with that. I do think just "Fallen Order" or "Jedi: Fallen Order" would be the ideal name for the game. But I agree with your point. They should cut the Jedi part out of the current title. --- Ah, yes, the Negotiator: General Kenobi <sneaky beeping> ... Copied to Clipboard!
