Attack of the Clones - 8/10
Revenge of the Sith - 8/10
A New Hope - 5/10
The Empire Strikes Back - 6/10
Return of the Jedi - 6/10
The Force Awakens - 7/10
The Last Jedi - 8/10

This topic will probably make certain people very unhappy. You never know, with Star Wars fans. For some reason, there is the "correct" rating for a SW film, and an "incorrect" rating (which makes people shout and swear). I never understood this.

Interesting personal order. Did you originally view them in the prequels first order? I suspect that the special effects in the original trilogy would seem quite lacking to a younger viewer who tried that order.

My favorite is a New Hope, although it was also the first one I saw on VHS back in the day so I'm probably biased as well.

I didn't intend it to be. You can like them in whatever order you like. I genuinely feel that the special effects in the prequel were better. I also admitted that my personal preference for the original trilogy is in many ways a bias.

I understand you have probably gotten some shit for this since you were expecting it though, so I apologize for being unclear. I can't remember as much about the prequels since it's been a while since I saw them and I only saw them once or twice each, and tbh having seen the original trilogy a billion times I'm sure in no small way makes it easier to remember the best parts. I agree that Revenge was the best of the prequel trilogy, but hey, if you want to go into more detail as to what you liked about various films, I'll read it.
