Wrong. Skyrim is single-player only and is still talked about after 9 years.

For more recent games, people talked about RDR2 for weeks before they added online.

I literally still know nothing about this game except everyone on Twitter talks about building roads.

Building things is one of the main mechanics, yeah. Though it's more like 3D printing things as opposed to crafting things, like in TLoU or something.

Girlfriend Reviews? This is their one-year anniversary video. They're basically a pair of twenty-somethings living out in CA. The boyfriend (Matt) is a video editor by trade so everything they make is high quality. The girlfriend (Shelby) is a performer and comedian and she's the one who narrates the videos. The setup is "This is not a review of X, this is a review of what it's like to live with someone who plays X". It really just ends up being a review of the game and also additional review of being a backseat gamer and watching someone playing it.

They came out of nowhere late last year and every video they have is of this quality. They don't even have a "shaky period" a lot of content creators are known for.

Also, for what it's worth angry Joe of all people gave it a 7. Said it's worth a playthrough for the Experience alone, but that the actual game part of things is not exactly fun per se.

That's what I hear a lot of from people, that it's a good experience, but a boring game.

Ill definitely play it when I can get it on sale
