Fallout 4 on xb1 and ps4, five years later, is still borderline unplayable when in the downtown area. To this day it still freezes, crashes, and will slowdown to single digit framerate at times when in that area. And it's not a technically demanding game. It wasn't then, and it isn't now. It has not been fixed, despite the game getting multiple patches every year still(to update the creation club, that's it, and it breaks mods every time lol).

Skyrim was the last decent thing they ever made.

I don't have that issue on base ps4. Fallout 4 is is easily the most stable game they've ever made

You are definitely a unique case. It's a well known issue. Skyrim is more stable.

I remember it having the basic Bethesda problems but not to the extent that the games before it had. I went back to older Fallouts, it's day and night. It's probably my favorite to play because of it being the best running Fallout. That and the way tighter shooting

Bethesda may be the first example of a video game company that has literally become obsolete, which should be impossible for creative media.

The 20th release of Skyrim was the sign they were no longer who they were, not Fallout 76.

What I'm getting from this is that Fallout 4 came out 5 fucking years ago?

Plays fine for me. I've had like 3 crashes since launch and two of them were using mods.

Just sounds like your copy/console/mods

Compared to other Fallouts and Elder Scrolls it's a way more stable

New Vegas crashed so many times it couldn't get insurance

I remember some hiccups, to be sure, but nothing game-ruining. The Outer Worlds, however- was a frame-skipping, screen-tearing mess for me whenever I went outside at all.

My favorite of the bunch is still New Vegas, even if the shooting is like aiming with right angles.
