it's probably like a Bioshock Infinite kinda thing. there is always a resistance leader. there is always judgement day.

And that theory Hank had in Days of Future Past on what if time is like a river. You throw pebbles in it and make ripples but the current will always correct itself. No matter what you do, the river keeps flowing in the same direction.

In Terminator, humans will always strive to create AI. Then theres these lines that they keep saying in the movie about humans destined to destroy themselves.

Hence the title Dark Fate.
