On a serious note, isn't the whole point of casting to discriminate based on physical appearance? Tyrion Lannister isn't going to be played by Dave Bautista, and Drax isn't going to be played by Peter Dinklage. If they're looking to cast someone tall and someone short shows up, of course they won't get the part.

Casting directors want what they want. I'm sure there are people who have been rejected from roles for being too tall too.

Hell, casting isn't even about who is the best actor. It's about who fits the role
