Just beat the blazing bull. So fucking glad this game doesn't have stamina cuz I was running around so much during that fight waiting for small opportunities to hit. I was almost dead too. No healing gourd/pellets, no spirit emblems for firecracker. Luckily I wailed on him and at about 1/4th health I guess I did enough posture damage because he Rose up and keeled over, allowing me to deathblow. Then 2 assholes get out the gate and luckily I mikiri countered the spear dude and the other wasn't too bad.

Now it looks like the game splits. I went left of the main gate, found the gatehouse key and I kinda want to use it to get some dudes horn or whatever. Says it's near where I started the game so I guess I'll have to do some sploration

I forget how but I gave up at the Temple I think when I felt the game was too easy.

Bull is probably my favourite fight in the game next to the castle dude (who you should be fighting next IIRC) from what little I played

Bull literally is the wall I think because it forces you to purposely ignore everything else you learned in the other games by From.

It's sort of spoilers but it lets you increase your attack power by 1 in exchange for skill points, I think it's infinitely repeatably. That's not a story spoiler at all but rather what it does. Think of it like me pointing out that there were tools in various areas you should have gotten.

So continued on the left side and ran into an abandoned dungeon. Looked like a mine with zombie mofos that revived so I noped out of there real quick

Okay. Went to the ashina reservoir, went to the well where I started the game and got my ass kicked by that purple asshole a lot of times but I managed to kill him eventually. Also got Gyobous horn spear thing. Went further, saw it was the abandoned dungeon again, but there was one of those spirit conjuring big assholes so I noped out of there.

I had sidetracked to the temple earlier but ducked out. Seems to be quite a buncha paths at this point.

The temple or the castle after bull is your best bet, make sure to go forward past the bull to kill the general too for the gourd seed he drops, think it's that

Okay. Killed the asshole general surrounded by 5 musket guys. God that was annoying having to stealth kill all 5 musket guys and then going for the general. Then killed the asshole seven Spears of ashina. He took quite a bit of tries too but the last attempt I was near perfect. It feels good to have that feeling of improvement.

The big door behind the first asshole is locked tho so I gotta find my way around I guess.

Okay made my way to the rooftops and fought a bunch of those ninja assholes. Then when I thought I was clear I got dive-bombed by a kamikaze asshole. It ended up taking his friend and left me a sliver of life but didn't kill and I made it to the window where the savepoint is. God I needed that savepoint.

Also bought the scroll from merchant dude that talks about a sword called Subamaru in the ashina castle. Gotta go hunt for that I guess

Got him. I was feeling good about the run. First time I got to his second/lightning phase but luckily the thrusts/mikiri counters and lightning counters were easy to reflect back and help deal massive (posture) damage

Went back to Hirata. Killed Juzou finally, then killed Lady Butterfly. She honestly wasn't too bad. I just had to stay aggressive. Usually 3 slashes, deflect, Dodge or shuriken while she's on wires and repeat.

Yeah, you need to be aggressive with all the bosses to deal with them.

I will say one thing. Going into this game I thought it was gonna be a problem that there are no aesthetic customizations but honestly Sekiro's design is dope. I'm a sucker for red attire, even if it's not the best idea for stealthing lol
