Welp, let's try to finish this thing.

So I started the Mass Fusion quest. Yep, I sided with the Institute. BoS more like PoS amirite lmoa

But I got kinda stuck. :(

The building is so confusing and the quest markers are useless. It's one of the things I hate about this game. Once you're stuck, you're stuck. No hints.

Well, after wasting more than half an hour of my mortal life wandering blindly I found the elevator that took me to the Beryllium Agitator. Finally.

Also Curie now admires me so that's cool. I kinda want to flirt with her but I'm not doing my man Preston dirty.

I went back to the Castle to swap my power armor with a better one and I GOT SHOT AT. I forgot Danse was here. The little ungrateful weasel. Of course, I dispatched him quickly.

Oh yeah, Sean named Raka the next director so boo-yah! I can lead the Institute towards the greater good. Sad that he's dying but...he's old.

Also, we got the Beryllium Instigator, yay! The fight out was intense.

...also, I tried the A House Divided quest. Two doofus of the Bioscience lab had the lab barricaded since they don't agree with Father's decision to democratically elect me. Losers. Since reasoning was impossible I was about to slug them in the face.

BUT THE DAMN GAME SENT ME ON A GOOSE CHASE AGAIN.

Such a worthless, pathetic quest hint "Settle things at hydroponics lab".

Yeah dumbass, the routes are closed off. I found a route through nonsensical FEV Lab what the fuck is a FEV, IT'S NOT EVEN A WORD. YOU'RE CRAZY, MANIACAL LOONS. AND AFTER I MANAGED TO SURVIVE THE AGGRAVATINGLY ANNOYING TURRETS, THERE'S NOT EVEN A PATH TO THE STUPID HYDROPONICS LAB.

NASTY LEVEL AND QUEST DESIGN MEANT TO ARTIFICIALLY PROLONG THIS CRAPPY GAME. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be put in a bronze bull and lit on fire. Such anti-player design, filled with hatred and needlessly nasty and mean-spirited tricks. I hate this so much.

I need to put the controller down for now. I'm not having any fun.

Really taught me to keep focused and just finish the goddamn gottedammerung story quests ASAP and be done with it. The game's too clever for its own good.

So I looked it up and apparently I had to load a holotape to the terminal. Great. I wish I were an esper too so I could figure it out. Here goes.

Well, that was resolved quickly.
Next mission I had to kidnap a Commonwealth genius. I was worried I had to face the Minutemen but with some Save Scumming and Grape Mentats all's well that ended well.
Now, the current mission is all about me speaking to the Commonwealth, asking people to leave us alone or else. Interesting.

So yeah, I finished it.

Had to destroy 3 generators. It was fine after I knew where to go. The true enemy was the lack of good local map/marker. >_>

Then it's our old friend Liberty Prime! I stood an onslaught and let the Virus Synth do his work despite falling from the flimsy ladder again and again.

Oh boy. It just shot the BoS' airship right out of the sky. The fall was glorious. RIP Elder Maxson.

Then we return to the Institute as Sean lies dying. :'(
My son... I'm happy I helped him fulfill his dream.
That ending was... shockingly short. It didn't even talk about the Institute's impact or how I'm the Director now.
